My C.C. Butterfly costume, based on Clamp's cardland artbook.

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it, and knew I had to do it. Luckily I found a perfect Lelouch to go with me, my friend Daisuke: [link] and we worked very hard to have them ready for the WCS preliminaries competition here in Spain at Salón del Manga de Barcelona 2011.

This dress took 2 months to complete and there are still parts that should haver been better done, but I had no more time.

We are very happy as this has been the first time we enter a contest of this level and we are very proud of our job. We spent a great time with wonderful cosplayers and loved the experience!

This photo was taken before the contest, I don`t know who the photographer was, sorry.

Here you can see our skit: [link]
Comments and critiques are welcome, we are here to learn! ^_^

Wooow! I've always loved the red dress too, and what a great work to render the butterflies! They are cut so neatly! Very precious.
I've also seen and enjoyed your skit, seeing your dress in movement was impressive! If I can give any advice (not that I'm a pro cosplayer or that I've ever done great skits... just the two cents thoughts of a passerby^^'), next time I would focus less on talking and more on movement. The "carnival dance" was a great idea, it could be intresting to focus more on that part, making it a bit more sensual, mysterious, like a hint of their relationship. You have some very elegant and theatrical costumes, you should believe in yourselves! ^^

Thank you very much for your comment! I appreciate it a lot! And thank you for you advice, it was a bit boring certainly, at first we wanted to do a more "action skit" but the problem was that we spent so much time on the costumes that we didn´t have enough time to think about the skit, and that was a killer. In addition, we dind't have time to train the skit because of our jobs and couldn't see each other very often, so we had to think of something easy and fast that people could understand without knowing about the series and that could fit in 2 minutes... but no worries, now we know the problems we had and are working hard for the next time! :D
